Several yet-to-be-discovered depths of a forest are depicted in this work of art, each with its distinct qualities and a variety of thriving flora and wildlife. The forest is compared to a series of layers that must be peeled back to reach its core and unlock its hidden mysteries. It is comparable to the various layers of the human soul, of which the most visible is revealed to the public while the innermost is kept hidden. The artwork depicts the deepest, darkest recesses, symbolising the mystery of the hidden, unexplored parts of the forest.
