Corbett
Inspired by a family trip to Corbett National Park in India, this painting “Corbett” encapsulates the vivid ecosystem of the forest that surrounds us. The piece reflects the tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere of our journey, where mango trees towered around us, the gentle sound of a river echoed nearby, and the towering mountains framed the landscape. Each brushstroke is an attempt to capture the essence of nature in its raw form whether it’s the rustling leaves, the flowing water, or the rugged peaks in the distance. The composition not only celebrates the beauty of the forest but also symbolises the interconnectedness of every element within it. Through this work, I sought to convey the harmonious balance between nature’s elements and the peace they offer, hoping to transport the viewer into the serene wilderness I experienced in Corbett.
